The Bravo Empowered Women Awards, organized by the Zonta Club of Makati & Environs in partnership with Security Bank, is a biennial initiative that honors exceptional Filipinas who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and success in their careers and personal advocacies. The awards recognize those who drive social change and economic progress in the Philippines.
This biennial award project, in partnership with Security Bank, is now on its 6th awards cycle. The purpose of the awards is to celebrate previously unrecognized women who have made significant contributions in various fields, including:
- Arts, Culture & Heritage
- Business/Entrepreneurship
- Education
- Media & Public Affairs
- Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)
- Social Services
- Sports
- Culinary Arts
Nominee Qualifications
- Filipino citizenship and good moral character
- At least three years of advocacy work by April 2025
- A sustained project improving society
- No prior recognition from other award-giving bodies
- Not a Zonta member or Security Bank employee
- Not a parent, child, sibling, or half-sibling of a Zonta Club of Makati & Environs member or Security Bank senior management team member
Nomination Process
Nominations for the 6th Bravo Empowered Women Awards are open until April 30, 2025. Interested parties can submit nominations through the official website: www.securitybank.com/BravoAwards.
Winners will receive a financial donation to support their chosen causes and join the distinguished roster of Bravo women.
