Held at the Grand Ballroom of City of Dreams Manila, the event transformed the space into a living gallery—where textile met technique, sculpture walked the runway, and Filipino creativity took center stage. Lamina 2025 marked the beginning of a three-day immersive experience celebrating artistry, innovation, and conscious collaboration.

At its core, Lamina 2025 is a showcase of circular economy principles, redefining luxury through sustainability, community-based production, and artistic integrity. More than 30 of the country’s top visual artists and designers participated, creating a vibrant fusion of fine art and functional, wearable design. From gallery walls to catwalks, the event layered heritage, sustainability, and storytelling—aptly reflected in its name, derived from the Latin word lamina, meaning “layer.”

The project integrates 17 years of ManilArt’s legacy in the visual arts with Bayo Atelier’s 30-year history in fashion retail and sustainability—highlighted by Bayo’s ongoing partnership with the United Nations Global Compact.

The Zonta Club of Makati and Environs, long committed to women’s empowerment and social development, praised the event for elevating sustainable Filipino fashion and spotlighting homegrown innovation. Their presence underscored the importance of collective action in championing meaningful change in the creative industries.
