Brigada Ezkuwela 2026
The Zonta Club of Makati and Environs Foundation, Inc. (ZCME) opened the 2026–2028 Biennium with the successful conduct of Brigada Ezkuwela 2026 on June 5, 2026 at Barangay 111, Tondo, Manila. Now in its fifth year, the annual service project distributes school bags and educational supplies to students preparing to begin a new school year.
Through the collective generosity of members, donors, volunteers, and partners, the Club reached 300 student beneficiaries drawn from Barangay 31, Barangay 111, Barangay 119, Barangay 120, and Barangay 123. The initiative is designed to help children start the school year equipped with the tools they need to learn, grow, and succeed.
The project was led by Marcy Kohchet-Chua, President; Stella Cabalatungan, President-Elect; Ma. Teresa Tan, Treasurer and Brigada Ezkuwela Project Head; Joanne Andrada, Immediate Past President; and Jocel Labrador, Golden Z Club Chair. They were joined by student volunteers Sabine Liu-Lee and Daniel, together with the ZCME staff headed by Jay Joaquino, Executive Director.

As the Club begins another biennium of service, leadership, and advocacy, Brigada Ezkuwela 2026 stands as a reminder that when Zontians come together with a shared purpose, they create meaningful and lasting impact in their communities — opening doors to education and building brighter futures.
