Golden Z Club Induction at St. Scholastica's College
On January 31, 2026, officers of the Zonta Club of Makati and Environs (ZCME) visited St. Scholastica's College Manila to formally induct the Officers, Directors, and Members of the school's Golden Z Club.
ZCME President-Elect Marcy Kohchet-Chua gave an overview of Zonta International, highlighting its global mission to build a better world for women and girls. ZCME President Joanne Zapanta-Andrada spoke on the strong alignment between St. Scholastica's values and those of Zonta, emphasizing how this shared foundation equips Golden Z members to become compassionate, effective leaders and advocates for positive change.
Also present at the event was Ms. Jocel Labrador, Co-Chairperson of the Z and Golden Z Club Committee. SSC Student Coordinator Ms. Sharon Joy Castronero delivered an inspiring message on servant leadership, reminding students that leadership is a calling entrusted by the Lord to those who are willing to serve.
The inducted Officers and Board Directors of the Golden Z Club of St. Scholastica's College Manila include: President: Verra Gayanilo; Vice President: Jessamine Nunez; Secretary: Monica Alota; Finance Officer: Dessirey Jarloc. Board Directors: Charlemagne Ordonez, Sophia Nadalo, Zoierhein Lacson, Kamillah Maraiah Yap, and Tanya Josue.
The induction marked the beginning of another meaningful chapter in nurturing young women leaders committed to service, advocacy, and the advancement of women and girls.
